“Blood” Drops First Teaser After Viral TikTok Campaign Had People Questioning What Was Real

The first teaser for “Blood” officially dropped, and if you’ve been seeing that creepy “justfoundthiscam” account on TikTok, now we know what it was leading to.

Over the past few months, the account posted unsettling camcorder-style videos following a young woman named Simone after she found an abandoned camera in the woods. The clips got darker as they went on, mixing strange noises, paranormal hints, and that classic found footage feeling that something is wrong just outside the frame. A lot of viewers genuinely were not sure if they were watching something real, an ARG, or a horror campaign.

Now it has been revealed that the account was part of the marketing for “Blood,” the upcoming found footage horror film from Francesco Monti, known for “Project Paranoia.” Simone, who appeared in the videos, is also part of the cast, which makes the whole campaign feel like an extension of the movie itself instead of a random promo stunt.

“Blood” follows two close friends trying to make a low-budget slasher film. As the production starts falling apart, pressure and tension push their friendship into obsession, madness, and murder. It is the kind of setup that could hit hard if the movie really leans into that breakdown between creative ambition and psychological collapse.

Monti writes, directs, and produces the film through Gore Culture. Spyder Dobrofsky joins as Executive Producer alongside Jason Renaldy and Torin Penwell. The cast includes Van McInish, Marty Glynn, Chris Driver, Molly Dakota, Holly Dominique, Stephanie Knirk, Nicolas Teixeira, Kevin Hagler, Jason Barnes, and David K. Moore.

The campaign already pulled more than 10 million views and millions of likes on TikTok, so “Blood” is definitely getting attention early. Found footage fans are always hard to win over, but this was a smart way to get people curious.

There is still no word yet on where “Blood” will stream, but you can follow Gore Culture for updates or check the film’s IMDb page.
