Freak Show

Ring the bells!

Oh, ring the bells!

Open the curtains and show them Hell

The twisted figures in bottled form 

The weird and grotesque that they will scorn

Part them with a penny fair

to show them a lock of Medusa’s hair

The two-headed snake

The sword-eating man

The boy who has claws for hands

Would they still look with twisted glee

If I were them and they were me?
