Las Vegas is getting a full “Resident Evil” nightmare this summer

A new Resident Evil live experience opened its doors this week in Las Vegas. The attraction runs July 9 through August 30, 2026 at Universal Horror Unleashed, and it is built as an immersive trip through the series’ world where visitors test their survival skills inside that universe.

That is a smart fit for the franchise. “Resident Evil” has always had enough spatial identity to work beyond games and films. Labs, corridors, contamination, creature encounters, corporate ruin, panic in tight spaces. It practically begs to be turned into a physical walkthrough if the production team gets the atmosphere right.

Las Vegas also makes sense as the site for something this aggressive. Horror experiences do well when they lean into spectacle, and “Resident Evil” has decades of visual memory behind it to pull from. Fans already know the rhythms, the monsters, and the dread baked into the brand. They do not need much convincing to step inside it for real.

So this week was not just trailers and casting news. Part of horror’s current life is experiential, and “Resident Evil” getting a dedicated summer run in Vegas fits that shift perfectly.
